TMAS was created to recognize students who embody these qualities, going beyond the classroom to explore mathematics as a way of thinking and solving the challenges of tomorrow.
THE MEANING BEHIND TMAS LOGO: A KEY AND A TREE
TMAS logo’s design is rich with symbolism. First, the key represents the power of mathematics as the key to unlocking students’ future. This key symbolizes access to opportunities, knowledge, and the ability to tackle the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
Second, the tree depicted on the logo speaks to the importance of depth in their learning journey. A tree with strong roots can withstand storms, grow tall, and bear fruit. Similarly, at TeamMathics, we emphasize depth in our programmes – building strong foundational mathematics knowledge and nurturing advanced skills in Problem Solving Maths (PSM) to help students grow into a resilient and fruitful individual, as well as to develop their depth of knowledge (DOK) in problem solving and intelligent quotient (IQ).
The tagline “Legacy of Excellence” ties these symbols together. It reminds us that this journey is about more than achievements; it’s about leaving a lasting impact and inspiring others to follow.
